MCCIA and MoFPI Host Successful Regional Industry Meet, Unlocking Growth Opportunities in the Food Processing Sector

Government Schemes in Focus: Attendees received firsthand information about the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme, a flagship initiative by the MoFPI to support micro-enterprises in the food processing sector. Mr. Amol Chidrawar , State Lead for PMFME in Maharashtra, elaborated on the scheme's benefits and application process.
Spotlight on World Food India 2025: Mr. Siddharth Dutta , FICCI representative and Consultant for Food Processing at FICCI, presented a comprehensive overview of the upcoming World Food India 2025. This mega event is poised to be a global platform for showcasing India's Agriculture produce and food processing prowess and attracting international investments.
Networking and Collaboration: The meet facilitated a vibrant networking environment, where entrepreneurs and business leaders connected with policymakers and industry experts. The discussions highlighted a huge opportunity for collaboration and co-creation within the sector.
